Every year, hundreds of digital professionals improve themselves and their teams by learning, sharing and connecting at Bureau of Digital events. And while the Bureau has grown based on existing connections and relationships, it’s time to expand our efforts to reach people outside of our circles. So today we are excited to announce the Bureau Diversity Scholarship. Combined with our outreach efforts, these scholarships are intended to encourage a more diverse group of digital professionals to join us at our events and help our community to evolve.
Who should apply?
The Bureau Diversity and Inclusion Scholarship is open to all qualified digital professionals and students and is committed to promoting diversity within our community and the technology industry. Anyone who identifies with a group that is historically underrepresented in the technology industry (including, but not limited to, African Americans, Women, Hispanics, Native Americans, persons with disabilities, and veterans) are encouraged to apply.
How will recipients be chosen?
Our selection process will be based on several criteria but mainly the potential impact for the individual and/or their company. Only by helping people achieve their potential will the Bureau become a trusted source of professional development for all digital professionals. Scholarship decisions will be made by Bureau staff and a few trusted advisors in the Bureau community.
Scholarship recipients will receive either a partial or full scholarship depending on their needs and/or requested level of support.
How to Apply?
It’s pretty simple, just fill out this form. All applicants will receive an email response within a few days to let them know the status of their application. So why not fill it out and let’s see how we can help each other?
Want to Help?
Scholarship funds are a combination of sponsor and Bureau contributions. If you’d like to support diversity in the Bureau Community that would be amazing. There are two main ways, spread the news about the scholarship program and/or donate to the scholarship fund. Want more information first, that’s understandable. Just reach out to email@example.com.
We’re excited to get this initiative off the ground and have one main benefactor we’d love to thank, but they’ve asked to remain anonymous. So…we’ll just say that without this group none of this would have been possible. Now it’s up to us, and you, to make it an overwhelming success!
