Process Camp Oregon

A Two-Day Creative Process for Your Process

How do you go about creating and cementing your process? Whether you’re formally trained on a process and follow it, or you wing it every time, you know that you can always improve. But how to go about it? If the thought of digging into process makes you want to head for the hills…well, maybe you should…

Process Camp is a two-day un-process set in the wilderness of Bend, Oregon. At Process Camp, there are no formal presentations, no Kanban boards, no structured work sessions. Just an unregimented meeting of the minds in an inspiring environment rich with real waterfalls and the lean lessons of Mother Nature.

Throw process to the Oregon wind, unplug for a few days and join process-loving peers coming together from sea to shining C(MS). We’ll come up with best practices and leave with real, actionable takeaways that you can start using right away.

Why You Need to Be There

Creative Environments Feed Innovation. Ideas do better when they’re not forced or hunted down. Nurture solutions immersed in nature.

Great Process Comes from Great People. Process doesn’t come from spreadsheets, Gantt charts or structured exercises. It comes from people with a shared purpose. Put your process through its paces with your peers, and bring insights back to your team.

Dedicate Some Real Time to Process. Process usually falls by the wayside, but it’s what keeps the hard times at bay. Make a promise to yourself to put in the time to improve your process.

Implement Change Right Away. Process Camp is focused on real, actionable takeaways. Start changing things up as soon as you’re back home.

You Set the Agenda

Camps are all about the conversation. Everyone is a presenter, so rest assured, we’ll talk about the topics you care most about. The value lies in the perspectives you absorb from each attendee. Everyone comes from diverse backgrounds and industry niches, offering perspectives outside your immediate circle of influence.

Potential discussion topics include:

  • Process definition and optimization

  • Transformation and organizational buy-in

  • Documenting process

  • Project processes (e.g., Agile, Hybrid, Waterfall) and tools

  • Business processes (e.g., contracts, billing)

  • Training and certifications

...and whatever else seems right to you. The goal is to help you solve your challenges, gain inspiration and get back to work with a whole set of ideas to implement immediately.
