REGISTRATION CLOSES APRIL 1, 2016

A Retreat for Digital Project Managers

Be one of the first to experience a new event just for digital project managers. Join 35 of your digital PM colleagues for two days of discussion, idea sharing, networking, and maybe a bit of relaxation (let’s face it, DPMs need some rest).

We’ll converge at the Hilton New Orleans St. Charles Avenue, 4-Diamond AAA, boutique hotel. It’s centrally located within walking distance to all that is New Orleans in the Downtown/Central Business District of the city. We'll talk about the ins and outs of running digital projects in a place where fun refuses to take a back seat.

Our Agenda

Digital PM Camp is structured so that you have the perfect blend of structure and free time. We know you love structure, you’re DPMs! So don’t worry, you're not just hanging out without plan, fending for yourself, hoping to make connections. We devote meaningful amounts of time to discuss issues that are important to you with structure. But we don't get started early in the morning, and we don't like to be stuck in a hotel meeting room for too long either, especially when you're amongst such amazing surroundings to explore.

What is Digital PM Camp?

Transformational Retreats for Digital Project Managers

Opening Night Social, Digital PM Summit, 2015

Running digital projects is no easy task. Like many digital PMs, you probably didn’t study any form of project management in college, and you probably don’t have a PMP. Even if you do, you’re facing challenges—the same challenges your peers are facing and solving every day.

Until our first Digital PM Summit in 2013, there were no opportunities to discuss these challenges, ideas, and techniques outside of your organization. The Summit changed that in a big way, and the Digital PM Camp will take sharing to the next level.

Take a few days away from the office (and your projects) to recharge your batteries and have open, meaningful conversations with your peers. Your real peers.

WE Keep It Real

Discussions are open, honest, and frank, and everyone participates. Digital PM Camp is not about a single person standing in the front of a room, presenting while you scribble notes. It's a series of moderated, candid conversations.

One of the things you'll quickly discover at Digital PM Camp is that no matter how unique you think your experiences are, there are other people who have gone through the exact same situations. Comparing notes about how each of you dealt with these situations is truly eye opening. No one is there to tell you what to do or how to do it, but we guarantee you'll walk away with perspectives that will allow you to make more informed decisions.

We Discuss What Interests You

Our attendees will determine the discussion topics at DPM Camp. We start with a wide range of ideas and whittle them down to the most popular. This will be our first-ever DPM Camp, but we imagine we’ll be talking about topics like these:

  • Estimating and Scoping
  • Process
  • Tools
  • Communications
  • Managing difficult team members or clients

...and whatever else seems right to you. The goal is to help you solve your challenges, gain inspiration, and get back to work with a whole set of ideas to implement immediately.

Truly Find Your People

During the event, we’ll begin to forge lasting relationships that eventually serve as an ongoing support system. You'll retain access to this dialog long after the event. Digital PM Camp offers an ongoing forum where you can regular maintain contact and provide advice, trade stories, and share successes well after you part ways.

Your class will also be augmented with subject matter experts and consultants who provide business advice you can immediately act upon.

As if that wasn't enough, we’ll truly have a great time together. Laughter is the best medicine, and we’ll all be buzzing from the dose Digital PM Camp dishes out.
